Several years ago, I worked with other Confrontation players on the Confédé forum to study the creation of the Akkyshan army, its history, behavior, strengths, and weaknesses. All of this was based on information found in the book Univers de Confrontation and Cry Havoc magazines.

With various license purchases and other priorities on the forum, this project fell by the wayside.

Rather than having worked for nothing, as I was very interested in the project (otherwise I wouldn't have participated), I decided to compile all the ideas from the 20 pages of discussions. From these ideas, I created my own vision of the army and, using the Confédé profile cost matrix, I created a specific matrix and created enough profiles to play this army (maybe even too many, but it's better than not enough).

For now, I have created four lists ranging from 200 to 400 AP.

I then purchased the 3D files and printed the miniatures for the profiles I had created to test at least a third of them and make sure they were neither too strong nor too weak.

Next, I plan to make a video with 2 to 4 armies with different lists and painted miniatures, playing solo like chess to show the possibilities of this army after painting all the miniatures on these lists.

New Akkyshan profiles type choices
New profiles, summary of the discussions of the Confédé or the choices I made in relation to these discussions:
. Babies/teenagers dark elves kamikazes/bombs (Cadwallon attack).
. Elite swordsman.
. Male and female human slaves, with and without weapons/chains (revolting or obeying their mistresses).
. Slave hunters with ferocious dogs.
. Slave tormentors specializing in torture.
. Spiders with long legs that can catch prey in flight and are not afraid of predators that are too small on the ground.
Mutant elves with several stages of transformation into spiders.
. Dark elves and/or spider-elf warriors.
. Black elves and/or spider-elves sorcerers.
. Tortured and/or half-blooded monsters.

Possible army skill (max 2): Toxic/X OR Poison/X, Abominable, Fine Blade.
Usable abilities: Additional Limb, Reorientation, Immunity/toxic, Enslaved/X, Martyr/X, Sacrifice, Rapidity, Reflexes, Traps, Bond, Ambidextrous, Consciousness, Desperate, Dodge, Scout, Cure/X, Wild/X, Harassment, Rampage/X.
Army strengths: INI, MOV, FEAR, DIS.
Secondary strengths: ATT, STR.
Weaknesses: RES.
Primary Magic: Darkness, Black, Chtonian / for adepts: cabal, corruption, torments / for masters : shamanism, typhonism.
Secondary magic: Air-Water, Sorcery, Howling.
Forbidden magic: Light, Fire.
Hordes: Children/teenagers, Slaves, Monsters.
Queen: blessed/cursed by the goddess => Priest and Magic.
Staff: NON.
Magic level: Medium/Strong.
Goddess: Lilith.

The above is the result of the following ideas:
. Keeping Martyr/X as a base for slaves, we could also make cannibalism (or any other name, sacrifice seems more appropriate), a skill allowing to use a Martyr to regain HP & not FT.
. Is it a hive? They are spiders. There is a queen, but I think it's more the devotion/martyr aspect that would make this spirit.
. In the Rag universe book, they have an organization in webs which gives them a very great coordination and a total abnegation. So an army of undisciplined cowards like the gobs or the daikinees, it's not possible.
. The elites must be more powerful than their counterparts in other armies (big stats, toxic, afraid of anything, etc.) but also more expensive: Obviously a wolfen predator would have trouble facing a black widow.
. Under number compensated by sacrificial slaves (with possible boost effects).
. We could go towards an absence of EM by compensating via Rallying Cry. Or more fun: we were talking about a Sacrifice skill that allows you to use Martyr to heal yourself. The same skill could automatically rally the martyred fighter.
. this is what it says in Rag's universe book: The women are in fact only the relay of a higher authority in a hierarchy where all individuals have a very precise place and are especially sacrificial. Akkyshans have a group spirit that is unparalleled on Aarklash. Individuals from a lower hierarchical circle are ready to sacrifice body and soul to satisfy their superiors. Akkyshans have no instinct for self-preservation. In a matter of seconds, an entire column of warriors is capable of giving its soul to Lilith.
. It seems to me that this doesn't fit at all with an army that would be easily routed or in which each individual would fight without coordination: thus strong discipline and high courage/fear for the elites, at least fanaticism for the others.
. This is a relevant analysis! Ok for a higher and higher discipline and fear/cou! We start from the bottom of the pyramid with very low stats and each time we go up a notch, the Dis and Fear/Cou increases to reach the top, the Queen, the avatar of Lilith!
. If they have no self-preservation instinct, they are fanatical or desperate.
. To distinguish the Akkyshans slaves from the drunes, who are desperate, I would have seen enslaved and martyred.
. I just retyped everything in secrets, dogs fo war, etc.. It says in black and white that the basic skill of the people is toxic.
. Cabal, corruption, torment are also available to followers, shamanism and typhonism is available to masters.
. The elements earth and water are also possible with air and of course darkness.
. The akyshans are specialized in the special operations, the assassins will have to exist, I found the term of viergelame to name them.
. As a result, the scouting skill should not be neglected. They see at night as well as in the daytime: awareness for some?
. As the world of the Akkyshans is mainly underground, a barghest could be considered.
. If the basic skill is toxic and we add consciousness for night vision, it may be very close to the Ophidians! What skill enhances visual acuity, if any?
. The Akkyshans also have Tunneling Worms that have dug natural galleries under the Behemoth, allowing exchanges between Allyvie and Acheron.
. The spiders must all have the toxic in any case. I'm not shocked that slaves don't have it, but you should know that it's the same in ophidian apart from the first slaves bug.
. For the creatures, it must depend on the creature but a creature typed spider for example, should have it.
. Where in the background does it say that priestesses are particularly important? The magic yes, there is mention of its power but the priesthood at no time it seems to me.
. In the text conf 4, it is still marked that the witches of the Widow are accomplished witches and priestesses, so for me the priesthood is not to be neglected either. So I think there should be martyrs too, not just devotion.
. It's true that you have to choose, but in terms of fluff, it seems to me that black magic is at the heart of the functioning of Akkyshan society, not a cult of Lilith (why iconoclast?). So more magic than priesthood for me.
. Indeed, that's a lot of strengths, but we're heading towards an expensive and relatively fragile army, so it doesn't shock me (we have to find a general balance similar to that of the cynwals, the dangerousness in more, the versatility in less).
. 3/5 = low magic, 4/6 = normal magic, 5/7 = strong magic (Alahan). Some adepts other than alahan have a POW 7, for example Sophet Drahas, others POW 6 and a spirit of X like Enoch or the gorgonne.
. we can start on 2 specific skills with:
-Toxic to elves proper,
-servant/devotion/martyr for slaves and other monsters.
. We can keep the MOU 12,5 of the Rackham elves which also sticks to the lust elves.
. For the members in more we have a skill which would stick: Dorsal blades/X.
. The use of webs, it is very nice this capacity to engulf an area which would handicap the movements of the opponents! At the same time, the Rampart skill could make sense!
. Raging Heroes' answer: Our Artistic Director was present at the show where Rackham presented his miniatures, and now it's funny to him that players want to use his miniatures for this... He's so happy! And therefore, he said yes for their use and the use of their names.

The Akkyshans Exceptions:
-3 to the number of miniatures in the army list if the number of small or normal size slaves is >3.
Miniatures with the Rapidity ability are immune to effects that increase the MOV characteristic.
Arachnids (word written in their name or type) that use a 100mm to 120mm base are allowed to use a 50mm base to represent them to be able to circulate in narrow uncovered areas (ex. covered area: tunnels, small houses, ...).
